Aston & Hartpury

In her penultimate competition before setting off to Poland for the European Championships, Piggy confirmed herself in top form with 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed finishes on her three rides at Aston-Le-Walls.

Cooley Monsoon continued his terrific run of form by winning his Intermediate section. He led the dressage with a score of 25 and added 3.2 cross country time penalties to complete on 28.2 – his sixth win out of 11 runs this season.

Big Berry stepped up to Intermediate level for the first time with a super 2nd placed finish. His dressage score of 30 was bettered by only one other in his section and one show jumping time fault and 2.8 from the cross country meant he completed on 33.8.

Jump Jet led the dressage in his Open Intermediate section on 27.7 and jumped clear in the show jumping but 2.8 time faults on the cross country dropped him down to 3rd.

Piggy then moved on to Hartpury where she was riding Vanir Kamira in the CIC3*. A good clear cross country round was only slightly marred by having had a rail down show jumping which cost the pair a top 10 finish.
