Brookfield Inocent was the star of the show, completing on his very smart 21.8 dressage score thanks to a super double clear in the fastest 4*S time of the day. He and Piggy were just pipped at the post, by 0.1 of a penalty, to the win. Very exciting for the future.

Fonbherna Lancer and Cooley Lancer ran in the 3*S, finishing 2nd and 8th respectively – great results, especially for Cooley Lancer who was running at the level for the first time. He’s now qualified to hopefully defend his Young Horse World Champion title in the 7yos at Mondial du Lion this autumn.

I Diablo Joe also finished on his 31 dressage score for 6th place in the 2*L. It was his first long format event and he jumped really well on the final day.

Piggy was delighted all the horses jumped double clear and inside the time bar Brookfield Quality. He’d done a super test for 23.1 (2nd place) on his 4* debut but had an unfortunate slip in the show jumping which proved very expensive and totally not his fault.
