Piggy took nine horses to the inaugural Cornbury International. I Diablo Joe was contesting his first CCI3*S and but for a rail down in the showjumping would have won the class, having led the dressage and jumped clear inside the time across country. Runner up out of almost 100 starters was still a great result.

Five horses ran in open intermediate sections, with Brookfield Inocent finishing on his dressage score in 3rd place. Dargun and Brookfield Quality added a few cross country time penalties for 6th and 9th respectively, while Fonbherna Lancer placed 8th despite a rail down showjumping. Cooley Lancer was down the order due to a very steady cross country round.

Igel would have been well placed in the CCI2*, but for a sat nav error from his  jockey.
